Precision-cut to fit your model vehicle perfectly, each Windshield Defense™ unit can be installed in just 20 minutes and provides (3) individually removable layers. Each layer lasting six months or more, depending on the environment and usage, from rock strikes and other road or trail debris.

First developed for racing helmets and cars, each layer of Windshield Defense™ is made of industrial strength, optical-grade polyester. Specifically designed to withstand the toughest road conditions while keeping your windshield clear and undamaged. Windshield Defense™ layers can be individually removed as needed; when it's time to remove a layer, simply tear it off to reveal a fresh new layer underneath.

How many layers are included?

The product contains three layers of UV resistant polyester. Each layer is 3 mil thick plus adhesive. Our patented design allows the film to be removed and while taking the adhesive with it.

How long will each layer last?

Each layer is designed to last approximately 6 months although this can vary depending on the usage.

What vehicles is this product available for?

We offer sizes that are laser pre cut to fit the Jeep Wrangler (TJ, JK, and JL) and the Jeep Gladiator (JT).

Does my windshield need to be brand new?

No, however, any imperfections that an old windshield might have would be amplified by the tear-off.

Will Windshield Defense™ protect against rock strikes?

Yes, our product will protect from pesky rock chips and other debris from day-to-day driving that would normally crack your windshield.

Can I use this product if I have Gorilla® Glass?

Yes and it is recommended to do so! Gorilla Glass can still be damaged by rock strikes, causing large chips in the glass. Those chips then lead to breaks and cracks in the glass. RO windshield defense is a great additive for the gorilla glass.
